This is a variation of the Horse Bonnet/Beanie pattern. Unlike the normal bonnet or beanie, elf hats are made differently, starting at the ribbing and working up.

Instructions are included for three sizes- horse: 5” between the ears, pony: 4” between the ears, and mini: 3” between the ears.

This pattern uses worsted weight cotton yarn with a 5mm hook, and a 2” bell.
