Elf Stockings
“This pattern was inspired by seeing pairs of sneakers strung over power lines. It always struck me as bizarre and also a little mysterious. Tiny and dream-like, these stockings evoke the same feelings, but with a touch of whimsy. Knit them in pairs and join them with a long crocheted chain. Wrap them around a tree branch, and people will wonder what tiny creature has lost their stockings.”
- from the pattern introduction
Gauge is irrelevant due to the size of the finished product.
For the beaded version you will also need 34 3mm crystal beads or size 10/0 glass beads for each pair of stockings.
