Elgin Jumper
This pattern is
available for free.
This jumper is made with chunky yarn for the ribbing and i-cord neckline and bulky yarn for the main body and sleeves. The yoke hangs from the neckline with a loose body (to hide a multitude of sins) which is drawn in at the bottom by a longtail cast on. I should make it clear that the yarn was handspun and not even to a standard weight, but I am so pleased with the final effect I will be trying to replicate it.
June 2015 - I have made one with three quarter length sleeves, shown modelled by my daughter in the last photo, details on blog.
