Eliseth is what I’ll be wearing a lot this winter. It’s warm and cosy and perfect to wear when working at your desk or knitting in the evening. The shoulderwarmer is worked bottom-up, in the round and starts with a very simple yet attractive lace pattern, then some Stockinette Stitch followed by a cowl in 2/2 rib.

Materials
Yarn: 430 487, 558, 630, 742, 790 yds/395 446, 512, 578, 681, 725 m aran weight yarn. Sample shown in Alpaca Coton from Rowan.
Needles: 1 US 6/4.5 mm circular of length 24 in / 60 cm or 30 in/ 80 cm for the body and 16 in/40 cm, or double pointed needles for the neck.
Stitch markers.

Gauge
17 sts and 24 rows = 4 in /10 cm in pattern stitch, after light blocking.
