Eliska Hat
Matching cowl available here
Every year, round about the middle of January, we all remember that winter is cold. Very cold. And that there can never be too many warm hats in the hat bin. Every year, round about the middle of January, I knit hat after hat after hat, trying to fill up that bin. This year, each of my children picked a yarn, described to me their perfect hat, and off I went. Eliska is for my middle daughter – complex, rich colours and meandering cables combining into something unique and beautiful.
Eliska Hat is knit in the round from the bottom up in a rib and cable pattern, and is suitable for worsted or aran weight yarns that block well. Use your favourite variegated skein, or a solid or semi-solid colour – the stitch pattern will look equally lovely in them all. Choose from three sizes to fit everyone in the family, from child to large adult.
