The Eliza Linen Dress is worked in the round from the bottom up to the underarm. Then it is divided at the armholes and the back and front are knitted separately back and forth. No seaming.
The armholes and neck edges are left ‘raw’ with no stitches picked up, since the edges are neatened with slip stitches, as shown on the samples. If preferred, the edges may be finished with a row of crochet stitch.
You will need 375m for the first 3 sizes, and 500m for the 2 larger sizes.
Recommended yarn is eco-stitch 100% linen sportweight (Flaxi or hand-dyed) or similar plant-based yarn with drape.
