A colourful triangular shawl knitted from the centre back neck in a very special yarn with long colour changes
Motif is based on an old Anatolian pattern but I think Eliza Doolittle might have liked to wear this on those cool London mornings

Knitted in the round using a steek, which is then cut and wrapped in a stocking stitch binding to neaten up the edges

I have completed and published a new version (Eliza Too) that increases every round as a response to some knitters’ issues with the ultimate shape of the shawl. Although i found it easy to block to a triangle some knitters have found that their version has a bit of a triangle at the neck edge. The addition of an increase every round version should help.

The new version - Eliza (Too) is here on Ravelry

Note: Kauni EQ is the colour used in the sample. Some of the Kauni colourways with less contrast might not work well as you will need good contrast. Pairing it with a darker background colour might solve that issue or using only the darkest of the colours for the background and only the lightest for the figure. Fiddly though!
