A beautiful four-square throw.
A Throw blanket made up of four squares joined together, each square is designed with a small mandala which is then squared off, with loads of texture and pretty stitch combinations.

Difficulty Level | Skills Required
Adventurous Beginner to Intermediate
Basic stitches in simple variations, simple repeats, color changes, shaping and finishing.
You will need to know basic stitches like SC (single crochet) and DC (double crochet).
Special stitches explained and provided in the instructions.
Materials
Hook – 3, 50 mm (E) & 4, 00 mm (G)

This blanket was designed in Madison yarn and Kits are available for purchase!
Madison 50% Bamboo Viscose/50% Cotton – 50g/108m/118yd
Weight – DK (11 wpi) 3: Light Worsted.
Approx 1200 grams / 2592 meters / 2832 yards (24 balls)
Yarn Substitute:
Using the same type of yarn throughout the project is recommended. The pattern suggests DK yarn, but you are not limited to this type of yarn. Any yarn can be used if you take into consideration your sizing for the project will differ.
Tension | Gauge
Gauge is NOT necessary for this project to be perfect.
However COUNTING your stitches will ensure a true success of this project!
Blocking your squares are recommended (not necessary) for the consistency in size for the squares.
Size
Final Blanket Size including border -
Approx. Length = 38 inch / 97 cm Width = 38 inches / 97 cm
Remember – if you use/choose a different yarn weight/hook size your blanket will be a different size!
Helpful Tips | Hints
With a project of this size, it is recommended to weave in ends as you go.
Because pieces need to be joined, it is important to count the stitches to ensure success.
If you have trouble with tension, please when advised use a larger hook.
