The Elizabeth Square combines moss stitch with the traditional granny stitch. Four smaller squares in two different color combos come together to create an eye-catching, one-of-kind granny square.
I named this square after myself. My middle name is Elizabeth - and so is my daughters! The finished square was giving off Pride & Prejudice vibes, so I was reminded of Elizabeth Bennett.
This square can be made over and over and over again to make an afghan, but it was originally designed to be part of the Granny Stitch Sampler CAL hosted by MadameStitch.
