When I had drafted the Nordic beanie I also liked to make a matching Norwegian style beanie in red and white with an elk on it.
And here it is!

It has a single colored ribbing, followed by a little border rhombus pattern, the elks, rhombus again.
After that fore- and backcolor change and at the top of the hat is a lovely Norwegian star.

I used 4-ply sock yarn for this beanie. You can use any similar 4 - to 5-ply yarn (Merino, Acrylic…).

As only two colors are used throughout the beanie it’s also suitable for stranded knitting beginners!

Als ich die blau-weiße Beanie mit dem Norwegerstern entworfen hatte, hab ich mir eine dazu passende rot-weiße Mütze mit Elchen drauf gewünscht.
Hier ist sie!

Sie hat einen einfarbigen Bund, eine Rhombusbordüre und Elche.
Dann wechseln Vorder- und Hintergrundfarbe und den Abschluß bildet ein Norwegerstern.

Ich habe 4-fach Sockenwolle für die Mütze benutzt. Ihr könnt aber jedes andere 4- bis 5-fach Garn verwenden( Acryl, Merino).

Da die Mütze durchgängig in zwei Farben gestrickt ist, ist sie auch für Mehrfarbenstrickanfänger geeignet.
