Ellianna Dishcloth & Towel
This is the 4th dishcloth pattern released in a series named for the women in my family. This one is named for my sweet young niece who loves the little heart like stitches all over it. This is an intermediate beginner pattern. It isn’t hard but understanding how to work the loops that form the hearts can be a bit different. There are pictures showing how these were done. The counterclockwise turning of the loop is to help it lay smoother…however, sometimes it isn’t needed as the stitch is already laying flat and not twisted. I hope you enjoy making this pattern as much as I have. I used Hobby Lobby’s I love this cotton yarn for my sample with sparkle. However, If you want to use it as a face or body cloth you may want to skip the sparkle varieties of this yarn as it does make it a bit scratchy. Any worsted weight Cotton yarn can be used. I do not have any photos of the tea towel size at the moment…I will add those shortly. I worked this up on US size 7 knitting needles and my dishcloth size is 10 x 9 inches. The tea towel size is approx. 10 x 18 inches. But both can be customized to your liking in the pattern.
