Ellie Cardi
The Ellie Cardi is such a versatile design! You can wear this piece as a dress or a cardigan and it can be worn with the buttons in the front or in the back. The simple silhouette is timeless and elegant. The Ellie Cardi is a raglan cardigan/dress worked from the top down and then the sleeves are added when the body is finished. First you will stitch the yoke, then separate the sleeves; you will continue to stitch the body rows, and once these are complete a beautiful edging in a contrasting colour is added to the bottom of the cardigan/dress. The sleeves are stitched directly onto the armholes and are finished off with the same beautiful edging. A “peter pan” collar is added to the neckline as a finishing touch. Super simple and quick to make. Enjoy making your very own Ellie Cardi!
