This is my original Ellie the Elephant Knitting Pattern which I first created in 1977 (to my horror I recently found a virtually identical Elephant listed by another designer here on Ravelry claiming it as her own ! Almost identical but just knitted slightly differently - This is the ORIGINAL VERSION which I have updated for modern needle sizes etc. and features a lovely double thick base cosy with knitted shaped spout - big floppy ears - knotted tail and cute wiggly eyes (optional) - a very easy to follow pattern written with row by row instructions. The spout requires you to pick up and knit stitches from the opening for the spout but all is explained as I have sold this pattern since the 1970s its well tried and tested.
