I designed these bootees because I much prefer the look of stockinette for basic patterns, and when it comes to things for babies, I prefer simplicity, rather than buttons and ties!

Size: just over 4 inches heel to toe, and around 2 ½ inches tall, with the cuff rolled.

Knit in the round, because nobody likes doing seams, good for DPNs or Magic Loop.

These work well with any yarn, but suit acrylic worsted particularly well, variegated colouring is even better. I love how funky and chic these look, and you need so little yarn that you could make them with leftovers from other projects. Perfect if you need a last-minute gift.
