Elliewood is an oversized tunic with a big ribbed collar, a kangaroo pocket, and thumbholes in the sleeves. It is knit top-down and seamlessly with a hybrid saddle-raglan construction method that varies increase rates to give a better fit through the shoulders. The pocket is lined with a lighter weight yarn to reduce bulk and is a fun place to use a contrasting color. A photo tutorial is provided to explain the pocket construction. Modeled sweater is shown with 2-3 inches of positive ease.
Skills required:
• Long-tail cast-on
• Backwards-loop cast-on

Additional materials needed:
In addition to the gauge needles, you will need two circular needles smaller than your gauge needles when working the pocket. Exact size is not important. If they are smaller it will be a bit easier (but not so small that your stitches fall off).
