Elliot is a cosy unisex child cardigan that starts with a bias bottom worked in 2 pieces of garter stitch with eyelet rows for an entertaining construction. From the bottom piece you pick up stitches and work the rest from the bottom-up. Knitted in organic, soft, smooth and lovely hand-dyed merino, this will be a lovely treat for any baby (and for your fingers while you are knitting).

I used three different colours as Main Colour (MC) and I just striped them throughout. I do recommend you knit the bottom pieces in a single yarn since you will be turning one of the pieces upside down and WS out.

I first launched the Elliot cardigan in sizes 3 months to 2 years. In this pattern you find sizes for 3-4, 5-6, 7-8 and 9-10 years. Use the schematic to see which size that should fit the child you’re knitting for. The newborn size is available for free as a separate pattern.
