’Ellis’ Cat Toy (DK) Knitting pattern!

Knit one-of-a-kind Ellis the Cat with detailed eyes and pointed ears. He has a sweet little nose and whiskers and dainty paws to give him lots of character!

Unique features
He has a long tail and the tip of his tail is highlighted in cream yarn. He is very easy to knit. Ellis the the super cute hug-gable Cat is sure to delight someone special! Why not knit him up as a Gift! He has no buttons featured on him, so he will be suitable and safe enough to knit up as a toy too.

His eyes are detailed with tiny beads, but these can be easily substituted with embroidery. Any baby would love and adore him! Ellis is shown in Lime Green, and Cream! Although you can knit him up in any colours you like!

18cm height. Circumference of cat body: 30cm. Circumference of cat head: 22cm. Tail length: 15cm. Feet length: 5.5cm. Feet width: 3cm.

Equipment needed
(A) 1 x 50 g/115 m Cotton Glace DK. Shade Ecru (725).
(B) 1 x 50 g/115 m Cotton Glace DK. Shade Shoot (814).
(C) 1 x 50 g/115 m Cotton Glace DK. Shade Earth (863) - 4 x Metres. (You may use embroidery thread if you wish).

2.5mm needles.
Round end small tapestry needle.
Hollow fibre filling.
2 x 4mm brown round beads.

Suggested yarn
(A) 1 x 100g/420m cotton DK. Shade Cream.
(B) 1 x 100g/420m cotton DK. Shade Green.
(C) 4 x Metres of brown DK yarn. (You may use embroidery thread if you wish).

Skills needed to complete this item
Cast-on/Cast-off, Knit, Purl, Decrease, knit in to the front and back of a stitch.
