PATTERN AND SIZING NOTES
- For this crochet sleeveless top, you must have knowledge of: working in the BB of the foundation chain, slip stitch, single crochet, double crochet, double crochet cross-over and seaming
- This crochet summer top is made in two identical panels and seamed at the shoulders and down the sides. The panels are worked from the bottom up.
- The double crochet cross-over stitch is simple: it’s double crochets, except each set of two starts with skipping a ST and doing a DC in the following stitch, then crossing back over to the skipped stitch and placing DC in that stitch.
- The pattern for this top is given for XS with all respective counts given in parentheses ( ) after the XS count.
- For each of separating the parts of the top, I am breaking it down in to the following sets of rows: Bottom Border Rows, Main Body Rows, Top Portion & Border Rows:
- The stitch count is given in parentheses ( ) at the end of each row.
- Turning CH’s do NOT count as stitches.
- This top is highly customizable in terms of length. It is made to be about waist length, but can be shortened to a crop top, lengthened to hips or even made in to a dress. You can crochet the 2 row repeat from the body of the shirt to achieve your desired length.
