The Les Cheries Series No 5
This Les Cheries, 1950’s style schoolgirl uniform pattern consists of a jacket, which fastens with 1 button at the front, a dress to wear underneath, which has a mock pleated skirt attached at the waist, a necktie and fastened with 2 buttons at the top back. There is a pair of all in one shoes and socks to go with the uniform and to complete the outfit a hat and purse/bag.
This pattern is my own design
MATERIALS
Approx 25grms of DK knitting yarn (worsted weight US) in royal blue, 15grms of white, 20grms of beige, 15grms of grey
1 pair of (8 UK) (6 US) (4mm) knitting needles or size to achieve a tension of 5st to the inch, 2 buttons for dress, 1 button for bag/purse, 1 button for jacket. Cardboard to stiffen the crown of the hat
Measurements
To fit 13 to 14 inch dolls such as Les Cheries, Hearts for Hearts, and similar size dolls
