The cardigan is named after my younger sister who was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s at the age of 52.
All proceeds from the sale of the pattern go to the Alzheimer’s Association in Iceland

The cardigan is knit bottom-up, back and forth. The body and sleeves are joined on a circular needle, followed by raglan decreases and then a pattern according to the chart. The edges (bands) are knitted afterward.

The Ellý cardigan is designed to have approx. 0-5 cm 0-2.5 inches of positive ease.

Needles: Circular needles: 2.75mm US2 and 3.25mm US3 / 40, 60, and 80-100 cm / 16, 24, 32-40 inches Double-pointed needles: 2.75mm US2 and 3.25mm US3

Gauge: 26 sts x 40 rows = 10x10 cm 4 x 4 inches in stockinette on larger needles.

Buttons: 18mm, 7-10 pieces

Peysan er prjónuð neðan frá og upp, fram og til baka. Bolur og ermar sameinað á hringprjón, laskaúrtaka og síðan mynstur samkvæmt teikningu. Listar eru prjónaðir eftir á.
