Elm Creek is a bulky weight shawl knit side to side. It is composed of sturdy garter stitch and a bold lace center panel. (The lace is a four-row repeat! Two of the rows are all knit! No purling!) The result is an accessory with striking textural interest that is easily worn as shawl or scarf.
