This simple stitch repeat creates a beautiful diagonal texture. Designed with instructions to swatch for any yarn weight!

Gauge is not critical for this project, but will affect the finished size and yardage required.

Testers typically preferred a needle several sizes larger than what is recommended for the yarn.

Sample shown in Fingering weight (1) yarn - Yarn Art Flowers (colourway 251), using a US 6 - 4.0mm 20” circular needle. Gauge for sample is 21 stitches and 28 rows = 4 inches and used approximately 250m/273 yards, with a cast-on of 132 stitches and finished dimensions of 15”/38cm long by 13”/33cm wide (laid flat), approx. 28”/71cm circumference.
