Elmo is a fun gaugeless collar pattern you can easily adjust the neck circumference of as you knit. It has two sister/brother designs; MEL the top-down collar and LEM the bottom-up one, and Elmo is the sideway version of this playful doughnut shaped collar design. Just a single color yarn is enough to enjoy the fun shape, but you can of course play with colors or textures!

このパターンは、ボトムアップで編むつけ襟 LEM 、トップダウンで編むつけ襟 MEL に続いて、横から編むつけ襟として考えました。横から編むと、首周りのサイズを編みながら調整できるので、ゲージを合わせなくても気軽に編めて楽しいデザインです。ぐるりと丸いドーナツ型とジグザグした縁の形が楽しくて、単色の糸はもちろん、いろんな色や素材で遊ぶのもおすすめです。

使う技法：
表編み、裏編み、ねじり増し目、かけ目、右上2目一度、左上2目一度、ラップ＆ターンなど

フリーサイズ（首周り調整可能、襟7-14cm）

糸：
Fingering / 中細 程度の太さの糸2本取り ー 約200m もしくはDK / 並太 程度の太さの糸 ー 約 80 m
