Elmwood Socks
The elmwood socks are worked using magic loop from the cuff down with a heel flap and gusset. They have a wonderfully fun texture that is deceptively easy. With only 2 of the 12 round repeat having any texture, the rest are plain knit rounds. These socks absolutely fly by and are so fun to wear in the end, I hope you’ll enjoy them.
MATERIALS
YARN - Fingering weight approx:
400 yards {365 m}.
Yardage varies widely depending on the length of your foot and the CO amount, but 1 skein of at least 400 yds should be plenty for a pair of socks (more than enough for a pair of shorties) for most foot sizes.
Sample uses: Old Wire Road Fiber Co Twist Sock (80% Superwash Merino, 20% Nylon, 400 yds/100 grams) in the colorway ‘Play That Funky Music’
