Thick socks are ideal in winter. Wear them as slipper-substitutes around the house or in your winter boots to keep toes toasty warm.
Actual cables in thick yarn are pretty bulky and would interfere with this sock’s wearability, so here we fake it; movement and texture but without the bulk. Not a cable in sight, this look is all achieved with increases and decreases.
Unisex in design with a wide, round toe - ideal for those with a blunter toe structure (but directions are given for a flat too toe, if that’s what you prefer). The heel is a standard short-row affair.
The stitch pattern instructions are provided both in chart and written form. Choose whichever you prefer to work from.
