After a lovely walk along the beach in January I realised that, although I had worn a hat, it didn’t quite cover my ears entirely. I don’t know about you, but I get headaches when the wind is in my ears. Once I got home, I had a look for patterns so I could make myself a winter headband. As usual, I didn’t quite find one that quite ticked all the boxes for me, so I came up with my own.

Skill level: Intermediate
Size: One size fits all
Supplies: 1 x 100g ball of King Cole Pricewise DK Fudge (1741), tapestry needle, button, bead or similar embellishment.
Hook: 4 mm
Gauge: tension is not critical for this pattern
