Eloise is a ribbed shirt with a crew neckline. It can be crafted as either a tee shirt or a tank top simply by omitting the sleeves.

The shirt is worked from side to side (the length of the row is the length of the garment) with an imitation 2x2 knit-like ribbing.

The front and back panels are crocheted separately.

The bottom ribbing is completed with slip stitches at the same time as the front and back panels.
The shoulder line on the back side features horizontal rows of stitches, worked to create a visually striking accent.
Several short rows are added to shape the armholes and neckline of the garment.
The neck ribbing is completed with a slip stitch ribbing after the shoulders are connected.
Side seams are connected with a crochet hook by working a row of slip stitches.
Set in sleeves have several short rows. Sleeves are connected to the armholes with a tapestry needle.
