The cardi is made in three pieces - the two front panels and the back - which are then sewn together at the sides and shoulders. The sleeves are crocheted directly onto the body using short rows, ensuring a perfect fit. The bottom hem and sleeves are finished with a ribbing, adding a polished touch. The button placket not only serves a practical purpose but also adds a special accent. The pattern allows you to adjust the length of the body as well as the sleeves.

CROCHET LEVEL
Intermediate (You should know how to read a crochet pattern and be comfortable with the basic stitches, know how to count stitches, know how to count rows and know how to use the mattress stitch for seaming. All other stitches and techniques are explained in the pattern).

SIZING
This pattern comes with instructions for 9 sizes: XS (S, M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL, 4XL, 5XL) ranging from bust circumferences of 28-62 in 71-158 cm. The size guide and measurements for the cardi itself can be found within the pattern.

MATERIALS
Yarn: Concept by Katia Alpaca Lace: 300 m, 328 yds / 50 g, 1.75 oz
Hook: 3 mm crochet hook or any other hook needed to obtain the gauge
Buttons: 5 buttons measuring approximately 2 cm in diameter (other sizes will work too as long as you adjust the spacing and size of each buttonhole accordingly).
Other: Stitch markers, darning needle, tape measure, scissors, thread in a color similar to your yarn color (or similar to your button color depending on your preference) for attaching the buttons, sewing needle (or any needle that fits through the holes on your buttons when threaded).
