Eloise mittens
Soft, beautiful mittens, knitted in our own lovely yarn No 2 from Önling. The mittens have an exciting and simple pattern that is easy to knit, since only one color is knit at a time. The pattern is for both a small and large woman’s hand. Knit them out of remnants, or buy 3 balls and make some for your friends!

Önling No 2, 100% Supersoft wool, 120 m per 25 g.

Color A: Grigrio 3 (anthracite): 15 g
Color B: Peach: 10 g
Color C: Olive (olive green): 10 g

Work with one strand throughout the work

Guiding double pointed needles size 3 1⁄2 and 4mm/ US 4 and 6

1 meter accompanying thread in a contrasting color

1 stitch marker

Gauge
24 sts and 48 rows (24 knit ridges) in garter st on needle
size no. 3 1⁄2 / US 4 = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4 inches.

24 sts and 30 rows in stockinette st on needle size 4 mm /
US 6 = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4 inches.

Directions
The mittens are knitted in the round from the wrist and upwards. First knit the garter rib edge with one color and then continue in stockinette st. Stitches are placed aside for the thumb and the mittens are finished. Finally the stitches that were set aside are placed on the needles again, and a thumb is knitted in reverse stockinette.
