Meet Elpida! Her name, Elpída (ελπίδα), means “Hope” in Greek.

LANGUAGE:
English (US terminology)

MATERIALS:
-Cotton yarn in 3 colors
-Thread of black, white and pink or rose yarn
-Crochet hook for the yarn you use (I used a 2,5 mm hook)
-Stitch marker or a thread of yarn
-Scissors
-Tapestry needle
-Soft toy stuffing

SIZE:
If made with suggested yarn and hook, Elpida will be approximately 13,5 cm | 5.3 inches tall.

LEVEL:
Advanced Beginner

SKILLS NEEDED:
-Basic crochet stitches like chain, slip stitch, single crochet, half double crochet and double crochet.
-You should know how to: make a magic ring, work in continuous rounds (spiral), do color changes, sc increase and sc (invisible) decrease.
-Basic sewing skills to sew parts together.
