Else Cardigan is a lovely, light, and soft cardigan knitted in Handdyed Fat Mohair.

The cardigan features a beautiful shawl collar and a construction that ensures a perfect fit without slipping off the shoulders.

The cardigan is knitted top-down, starting with the back and then each front piece individually. First, the back is knitted with short rows to shape the shoulders, then worked straight down with increases for the armhole.

Next, the collar is knitted, starting at the center back. In continuation of the collar stitches, stitches are picked up for the front pieces, and short rows are worked as on the back, after which the front pieces are knitted straight down to the bottom of the armhole.

The front pieces and back are then joined on one needle, and the body is worked back and forth until finished with a ribbed edge.

Stitches are picked up for the sleeves, and short rows are used to shape the sleeve cap. The sleeves are then knitted in the round with decreases on the underside and finished with a ribbed edge.

The Else Cardigan is knitted in stockinette stitch with ribbed front edges.
