Else Shawl
If it is freezing where you live and you need a quick but still very beautiful shawl to protect you from the cold, Else shawl is your next project!
By using bulky or super bulky yarn you don’t even have to worry about missing any tiny bit of warmth. With this shawl you can simply have it all! A super cozy triangular shawl including a beautiful all over lace and cable pattern.
Else is a shallow triangular shawl featuring a 20 stitch repeat pattern.
Worked from the bottom tip upwards, it widens through increases at the beginning and end of every row, adding four stitches per two rows.
The pattern includes both charts and written instructions.
Finished measurements:
55 x 140 cm / 22 x 56 inches after blocking.
Yarn:
250 - 300m / 275 - 330 yards of bulky or super bulky yarn.
Sample is made in super bulky Drops Andes (8465 medium grey)
Gauge:
11sts/ 16rows = 10cm/ 4” in stockinette stich
Needles:
8mm/ US 11, 100cm/ 36“ circular needle
