Periodic purl bumps add textural interest, and highlight the diagonal front panels. This jacket is incredibly versatile. Wear it open and swingy, or cross over your middle and fasten with a shawl pin or button.

The correct numbers for the sleeves before splitting the yoke should be:
40(42, 48, 56, 64). There is no change for the size L.

The updated pattern includes this information.

There has been some confusion regarding the yoke increases. For all sizes, you’ll work raglan increases every RS row and neck increases every other RS row, increasing a total of 18 sts for every 4 rows. The instructions have you repeat these 4 rows a certain number of times and then continue on doing ONLY neck increases until you obtain the right number of sts.

The pattern says:
Continue increasing only at the neck edge (first and last stitch) of EVERY OTHER RS row until a total of 11(11, 13, 13, 13) increases have been made on each front edge. You now have 30(32, 36, 40, 44) sts at each front, and 200(212, 240, 272, 304) sts total.

The important thing is that you’ve increased a TOTAL of 11(11, 13, 13, 13) times at the neck. In this way, you’ll obtain the right number of sts.
