Elska is the Icelandic word for love. I designed this pattern during an inspiring summer trip to Iceland. The brightly colored yarns seen here are hand dyed mostly with local Icelandic flora by Hespa Dye Studio. In short, they are the knitting equivalent of a love letter to Iceland.

The pattern includes a recipe for making an optional soft and warm alpaca lining, making these mittens really sensible during cold winters.

To make this pattern you will need the following yarns:
Outer Mitten: Lopi Einband or Jurtalitad Einband by Hespa Dye Studio:

15 grams - Color D - Lichen (Olive)
