Elsom
DESCRIPTION
ELSOM is an elegant and deeply versatile shawl with unique construction that can be adapted to work in any yarn at any gauge to make whatever size you would like. This trapezoid-shaped piece begins with 6 stitches in the top corner and grows outward toward the long edge until you turn to create the first corner when you are about halfway through your yarn. The sample in the pattern photos was made with a single strand of a light-fingering-weight yarn to achieve the dreamiest featherweight fabric for a perfect layering piece.
