This stylish little cape is a modern take on the vintage Apple Leaf Lace pattern, originally published in 1886.

A fun note about the title: The Elstar apple was created in Holland (my adoptive country) and is ready around the second week in September. 45% of all apples consumed in the Netherlands are Elstar apples!
