Created with the remaining yarn from Elvan Shawl, this fingering-weight hat echoes the mood of its sibling design. Starting with a twisted rib and bobble brim knitted in the main colour, the hat progresses to a simple geometric colourwork motif that is transformed into an abstracted pattern using nine contrast colours. Both the main and contrast colours are mixed together to form a speckled-effect pom-pom that adds a finishing touch to the design.
