These adorable miniature mittens, hat and scarf would make fun ornaments to hang on the tree next Christmas or to keep a tiny elf (or stuffed toy) toasty warm on cold winter days. The pattern includes instructions for the three items pictured as well as simple directions for making a small pompom maker if you don’t have one.

The yarn used for the set pictured is Metallic Bonbons from Lion Brand Yarns – one of the bonbons is more than enough to make the mittens and hat with pompom but a second one is needed to make the matching scarf with fringe. But any sport weight yarn will work and these would be a great opportunity to use up leftover yarn from other projects.
