Elvis the Cockatoo
Elvis the Cockatoo is an intermediate crochet amigurumi pattern from Kerry Lord’s second book: Edward’s Menagerie: Birds.

Using TOFT’s luxury British wool, Elvis the Cockatoo is a quick and rewarding make. Only the finest fleeces are selected for this British wool blend, which makes using it a real pleasure.
Yarn: TOFT DK Wool - 50g of main colour (shown here in Cream) 25g of contrast colour (shown here in Black), and 25g of contrast colour two (shown here in Yellow).
Hook: 3mm Crochet Hook
Notions: A handful of toy stuffing, tapestry needle, black wool for the eyes, and some scrap yarn to use as a stitch marker.
Gauge: 6 sts x 7 rows in 3cm x 3cm
Finished measurements: 28cm when in the sitting position
Techniques used: British double crochet stitch
