Elwen is your oldest friend. She is designed to accompany you any and everywhere! Her eye catching yet simple repeated cables and lightweight material make her a staple cardigan for all occasions. You two will be inseparable!

Elwen is designed to be a fitted cardigan. If you prefer positive ease, you may want to knit 1 size larger than your measurements.
This cardigan is worked flat from the bottom up. The sleeves are worked separately and joined at the underarm seamlessly to be completed in one piece.
The armholes and shoulders are worked in a reverse contiguous set in sleeve method, which allows for simple size modifications if needed.
Short rows are worked into the button band to widen the collar at the neckline.
Optional pockets require seaming.
Please note that if you decide to modify sizing, you may require extra yardage.

Knit Picks Swish DK 9 (10, 11, 12, 13) balls - or -
Lambstrings Ewetopia DK 5 (6, 6, 7, 7) skeins.
