Crochet terminology: Both US & UK
Skill level: Intermediate
Stitches used: slip stitch, chain, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, dc2tog,tr2tog, and lots of post stitches
Sizes, all square: fully customizable, instructions include rectangle or hexagonal blankets with 8 suggested sizes
Hook size: 5.5mm or whatever is appropriate for your chosen yarn
Gauge: not important for this pattern
Additional materials: yarn needle and scissors for weaving ends; tape measurer or ruler for checking size
Yarn: Main sample uses 6 skeins Red Heart Super Saver Jumbo Stripes in Parrot; Second Sample uses 6 skeins Red Heart Super Saver Jumbo Stripes in Bright Stripe and 1 Skein Red Heart Super Saver in Black
