Embrace . . . like a warm hug
NOTE on 6/25/11: There’s a great article on doing kitchener/grafting stitch using a third knitting needle instead of a tapestry needle at http://techknitting.blogspot.com/2007/05/easier-way-to-ki...
Embrace … like a warm hug when you’re chilled. Knit in spring or autumn colors, this vest is a perfect layering piece over just about anything. Knitting it sideways in a hand-dyed yarn means the stripes run vertically – instant slimming! Bulky weight yarn and minimal finishing details make this a quick yet elegant addition to your wardrobe. This pattern is ideal for handspun yarns.
The vest is knit in two halves and grafted together at center back. The only other finishing is to seam the shoulders and add a crochet loop for the button closure.
Finished Size: S (34”); M (38”); L (42”); 1X (46”); 2X (48”) ( 2” of ease is included in finished measurements)
