“Not all storms come to disrupt your life, some come to clear your path.” - Paulo Coelho. This triangular shawl is worked with three colors that fade into each other at each transition point. Each color uses a different stitch pattern, starting with linen stitch, moving into a simple lace pattern, and followed up by a scallop pattern to represent storm clouds. The bottom border features a simple fan like lace with optional beads.
This pattern uses three different colors in sport weight of 328 yards each. Please make sure to use skeins with a minimum of 328 yards, as you will use almost all of the yardage.
Yarn: Alainn Yarns Worn Suitcase Sport in Embrace the Storm set. (80% superwash merino, 20% nylon, sport weight, three skeins each 328 yards / 299.92 meters. Total yardage for the shawl is 984 yards or 899.8 meters.) To substitute yarn, please make sure you have a minimum of 328 yards (230 meters) for each color, as this shawl uses up a majority of the yarn.
