Embrasure Shawlette
An embrasure is a small opening in a parapet of a fortified building. I had castle walls in mind as I created this cozy shawlette, which can warm your shoulders in a chilly office, and is ideal for wearing as a large kerchief with winter coats to guard against chilly necks. This shawlette was created to use one skein of 300 yard DK weight yarn, specifically the 70% alpaca, 30% merino that Belfast Mini Mills developed specifically for Good Fibrations.
Errata for version 1.1:
Changes to the next RS row after the eyelets has been amended to the following:
NEXT RS ROW AFTER EYELETS: k3, yo, k3, k3, k into the eyelet from the row below while slipping the stitch above it off your left needle (so you are knitting two strands tat the same time, thus making the eyelet a bit bigger); repeat from to 1 st before marker.
K1, m1l, sm, k1, sm, m1r, k3, k into the eyelet from the row below while slipping the stitch above it off your left needle (so you are knitting two strands tat the same time, thus making the eyelet a bit bigger); repeat from to 6 sts before end of row, k3, yo, k3.
Errata for version 1.2:
Fixed a couple of typos that do not affect the pattern.
