Emelda Top / Dress
DESIGN DETAILS
Emelda is a made-to-measure pattern, With this 2-in-1 pattern, you can make Emelda as a top or a dress. Emelda has a babydoll silhouette with a halter neck, closed back and ruffled body/skirt.
CONSTRUCTION
Emelda is worked in parts, starting with the front panel and collar. The back panel is then worked seamlessly from the front panel, followed by the flared peplum. If you’re making the dress version, this flared peplum is extended with increases to make the skirt.
This is a made to measure pattern so there is no fixed gauge. The pattern is accompanied by a spreadsheet that does the calculation for you, based on your personal gauge.
