As the temperatures begin to fall in my beloved Siberian countryside, and a chill
creeps into the evening air, there is nothing so comforting as a soft and cozy shawl to
wrap up in. Here is an opportunity to play with color. Will your colors be calm and
understated or bold and bright?

Yarn
You will need fingering weight yarn in 4 colors.
I used: Bello by The Plucky Knitter and Primo Fingering by The Plucky Knitter:
Color A: Wintry Mix 430 yards
Color B: Narragansett Grey 130 yards
Color C: Icey Audrey 270 yards
Color D: Bohemian Blue 200 yards

Tools
• Size 4 (3.5 mm) 16” circular needles
• Yarn needle

Gauge
16 sts and 28 rows to 4 inches (10cm) in Stockinette
Stitch, after blocking.
Gauge is not crucial for this project, but changes might
result in a larger/smaller shawl which may change your
yardage requirement.
