This pattern was provided by Blazing Star Ranch for the Yarn Along the Rockies’ 2016 yarn crawl.

Construction Notes:
This scarf is knitted side to side. The pattern contains both charted and written instructions for the lace edging. There are three main sections: Increase, Even, and Decrease. After the Setup Section, you will create increases in the seed stitch portion of the scarf while you work the lace edging. The Even Section is worked as for the Increase Section, without the increases. In order to keep in seed stitch pattern, work the appropriate decrease stitch in the Decrease Section: work seed stitch until three stitches before the marker. If the third stitch from the marker is to be knitted, purl the next 2 stitches together. If the third stitch from the marker is to be purled, knit the next two stitches together.
Beads would be a gorgeous addition to the scarf edging! Using the crochet hook method, place a bead at the beginning of each row 6 of the lace edging.

Gauge:
24 sts and 34 rows to 4” / 10cm While gauge
is not crucial for the fit of this garment, if your
gauge is off you may run out of yarn.
