This pattern is a raglan-style adult sweater knit from the top down. It appears sophisticated but is easy to do and will be a snap if you’ve already worked through the patterns earlier in this book. You begin this sweater by knitting flat, then you join the pieces to work in the round by knitting into two stitches together. Afterward, the sweater is constructed in a traditional raglan style, meaning that increases along the top of the sweater occur at four fixed points. To finish, stitches are picked up along the cast-on edge and a collar is knit.
