The Emerald Knitted Tank Top Pattern was rewritten and tech edited in July 2024. It was rewritten to match my current writing style, improve clarity and expand the sizing options.

YARN
Worsted yarn (also called Medium #4).

• C1: 255 (285, 335, 365, 395) yards, {233 (261, 306, 334, 361) meters}.
• C2: 50 (55, 70, 75, 80) yards, {46 (50, 64, 69, 73) meters}.

Sample uses: I Love This Cotton (100% Cotton, 180 yds {165 m}/100g {3.5 oz}) in the colorways: Forest Green (C1) and Ivory (C2).

NEEDLES

• Gauge: US 10 (6.0 mm) circular needles up to 24” {60 cm} long.

Optional: For the straps use a needle that is 2-3 sizes smaller than the one you used to match gauge.
Using a smaller needle for the straps helps prevent them from stretching out as much over time.

OTHER MATERIALS
Yarn needle & either waste yarn or a stitch holder.

GAUGE
Stockinette (worked in the round):
15 sts / 21 rounds.

SIZING
5 sizes: 1 (2, 3, 4, 5)
I suggest choosing a size that is 2-4” {5-10 cm} larger than your actual bust measurements. For example if your bust measures 42” then I suggest choosing size 3 (44.75”). All sizing info is finished measurements after blocking.

• A = Bust Circumference: 36.25 (40.5, 44.75, 48, 52.25) inches, {92 (103, 113.5, 122, 132.5) cm}.
• B = Full Length from Shoulder: 18.75 (19.25, 20.25, 20.75, 21) inches, {47.5 (49, 51.5, 52.5, 53.5) cm}.
• C = Length from Shoulder to Underarm: 8.75 (8.75, 8.75, 8.75, 9.25) inches, {22 (22, 22, 22, 23.5) cm}.
