The stripe in this pattern is from a white patch on the yarn.
The kit includes a mini skein of hand died yarn specifically made for this pattern, but it would work just as well in any colour.

∞ 2mm (or size required to get correct tension) set of double point needles or circular needle for magic loop method, or straight needles for knitting flat

∞ Small needle nose pliers for cutting and crimping chenille sticks
∞ Needle for sewing
